Herstory

Patricia Lowry was Miss Deaf Georgia of 1983-85. The pageant held in Rome, GA and the theme of pageant was "Happy Days" when the contestants dressed up in 1950's. Patricia was doing her talent performance called "The Shadow". The first runner up, Dana Garmon, won the Best Talent Award when she performed as a magician and spelled two live doves into magical tricks. LeAnn Blalock won the second runner up.

Patricia went to Baltimore, Maryland to compete with 34 contestants at the Miss Deaf America pageant in summer of 1984.
